If you walk into any department or specialty store with lingerie, you’ll see undergarments in sections like bras, bralettes, underwear, nightgowns, teddys, bodysuits, babydolls, camisoles, stockings, etc. There is a whole world of various bra, panty, and stocking styles.
Bra and Panty Sets
Bra and panty sets are very common for everyday wear and for special moments. We love this traditional lingerie style as you can mix and match different bra and underwear styles depending on your body shape and personal preference. This lingerie style does NOT have to be boring! You can change the prints, design, and styles to match or mismatch however you please. Feeling soft and feminine? Delicate lace, floral designs, pinks, and whites can help make you feel your feminine energy. Feeling spicy and bold? Straps, buckles, chains, reds, and blacks can help you nail this bold vibe. Mix and match, add a garter belt and do what you feel the most confident in!!
Teddies and Bodysuits
Teddies and bodysuits provide a one-stop shop as you will for an effective lingerie look. They are the most popular among my clients!! These provide a comforting, hugging support in all the right places while providing an enhancing and powerful look. Teddies and bodysuits come in various styles and colors including pushup bras, thong or brief styles, built-in shapewear, and more. You can get them in lace, satin, long sleeve, deep plunge, and more. Teddies and bodysuits are great if you’re wanting a slightly more conservative look instead of a bra and panty set.
Nightgowns
I know, I know. You instantly thought about a house dress from the midcentury. We can talk about those, but I’m referring to a pretty, feminine nightgown with lace or velvet. It looks more like a dress, with added design to enhance and entice. This is different than the moo-moo or house dress you’re thinking of. But hey, if that makes you feel sexy, get it girl! Nightgowns are a more modest or conservative lingerie style and can add a romantic vibe to your bedroom or boudoir photography session. Traditionally paired with a matching robe, a nightgown gives us romcom main character vibes ALL DAY!
Babydolls
Babydolls have som controversy in the boudoir world, many photographers say they hide curves but I disagree- I think they are flattering on EVERY body type! They are like the nightgowns spicy little sister lol! They never go out of style because they offer the best of everything. Babydolls have little to maximum coverage but offer that flowy, romantic feel. They generally have an enhanced bust, open flowy midsection, with a panty to pair. Literally so cute.
Accessories
Lingerie accessories can be worn to accompany any garments or even worn themselves! The best thing is, you get to decide what makes you feel sexy, sensual, and empowered. It’s all about you and your vibe!
Body harnesses and body chains are to die for! These accessories are trendy and make all women feel like a million bucks. You can wear these with your favorite lingerie items for a sexy girls’ night out or date night, or pair them with your favorite bedroom items. You can wear them alone or with whatever. These are a great way to modify your look during a boudoir photo session.
Suspenders are bomb to pair with or without a bra or pasties. This accessory definitely gives a bold and seductive look.
Pasties or petals are adhesive nipple covers worn with or without a matching look. Feeling like your sheer bodysuit is showing more than you’d like? Pair some matching pasties to give you a bit more coverage and still feel bomb.
Stockings are a fun and sexy way to accessorize your outfits, in the bedroom and out! Everything from thigh highs, fishnets, colored stockings, and others can accentuate your legs and feet!
