Hi I’m Kara!
I’m a Sag sun, Gemini moon, and Virgo rising. ISFP. Hufflepuff. White color code. Enneagram 3. Christian.
I love all things indie music, plants, rom coms, and anything cottage core. My vices are spicy snacks, spicy books, memes about the Twilight Saga, and sloths. I’m the type of person that changes my hair color FREQUENTLY and always has a crafty project going on!
My studio is in Salt Lake City, I recently got my very own space and decorating it and making it my own has been so much fun!

I believe I am here on this earth to help people be at home in their bodies. To liberate people from shame, repression, body image distortion, and silence. My goal is to help every person I come in contact with to feel confident enough to TAKE UP SPACE. I want to help people fall in love with themselves and remind them of their POWER! I believe with my entire soul that as we love our bodies and love who we are, our minds can be cleared and have more room for inspiration, creativity, and being present. And who doesn’t want that?! That’s my dream for each and every person I work with.

What does the process look like?
I love this question! In a nutshell:
Once you fill out the booking form, I will reach out and we will schedule your session and select which products/collection you’d like!
Once you book your session I will send you 2 things: a client contract and an invoice to pay your $250 booking fee. Once that is all filled out the fun part begins! I will send you a handful of emails from time of booking and your session. Please read them and fill them out honestly and never hesitate to reach out with any questions!
The day of your session we will meet at the location- My team will do your makeup and your hair ! We all talk with you to give you the best look for your shoot (if you chose the soul fire collection)! That typically takes 1-1.5 hours.
Then will go over your outfits and the lingerie in my client closet, try them on and decide which you feel the best in! After that we do your shoot- I walk you through every pose, we will listen to music of your choosing, and make some magic!
After your session, we will look at your photos and discuss whether or not you’d like any prints from the Al La Carte menu. Then we will part ways and I will finish editing them and order your products (if you chose any).

FAQ
What should I wear?
Anything! If you feel good in it- wear it! Lingerie is the most common- especially bodysuits and a matching bra and undies set- I also have women wear t-shirts and undies, fishnets and nipple pasties, sports jerseys and booty shorts, cosplay outfits, you name it!
I do have a collection of lingerie for my clients to wear during their photoshoots that I bring with me on photoshoot day!
And, If you are having trouble I do offer lingerie consultations! They are free!
When should I book?
At least 2 months in advance is the safest option ! I book quickly, and I want to make sure we fit you in! But if you want a session sooner rather than later let me know and we can make something work!
Do you work with couples or solo men?
Yes, absolutely!!! Let’s do it!
Also, during couples shoots, I make sure to get some solo shots of each person!
I’ve never done a shoot before, what do I do?
Most of my clients are first timers so you have nothing to worry about! I send prep guides before your photoshoot and my dms are always open if you have any questions!
The day of the photoshoot, I help you with every single pose and am mindful of all the details so you literally just need to show up and we will make magic!!
Do you travel?
Yes! If you aren’t local to the Salt Lake, Utah area we can totally arrange something!
I do travel frequently to St George, Utah and have a studio I love working with down there, I offer sessions there a couple times a year- if you are a Southern Utah girlie be on the lookout for those dates or reach out and I’ll let you know!
Will you edit my body?
I take great pride in the fact that I do not alter my clients bodies. I will absolutely edit out acne, scratches, or any other temporary blemishes.
The reason I don’t smooth skin and do other alterations is because I believe to my core that boudoir is to celebrate your body as it is. Not alter it and change it.
