What I do when I’m overwhelmed
Not gonna lie… sometimes life just gets a lot. Like, “I have 47 tabs open in my brain and they’re all glitching” kind of a lot.
When I start to feel that way, here’s what helps me:
🌿 Step away — even just 10 minutes outside or a random Target run can reset my brain.
🧘♀️ Breathe + move — stretching, walking, dancing in my kitchen… doesn’t matter, just move.
📝 Brain dump — I scribble everything out on paper (messy AF) and it always feels lighter after.
📵 Put my phone down — because sometimes the scroll spiral adds to the chaos.
💖 Give myself permission to rest — like actually rest, without guilt. That part’s the hardest. 😅
You don’t have to do it all. You don’t have to have it all together. You’re allowed to pause and take care of you.
